Project 365

Since I seem to be stuck when it comes to writing, I'm trying a new creative outlet. I am a total novice, but I'm joining Project 365, taking a photo every day for a year. I'm hoping it will help me become a better photographer, and maybe even a better journaler.

I think I'll start on Christmas Eve, so I can document our family's Christmas, 2014. Christmas is a difficult time for me, and maybe by starting here, I can work through some of my grief, and not just "suck it up and get through" the holidays.

This will definitely be a challenge and I'm notorious for starting things and not finishing them, but I'm going to give it my best shot!

  1. Your last words could've been mine - but I'm in too! I actually think it's a great idea to take a head-start and include Christmas. Be blessed while you do the hard work you've mentioned...

I would love to hear from you! Let me know what you think and how I can pray for you. Most of us are carrying some pretty heavy baggage and the good news is, you don't have to carry it alone! You can lay it at the feet of Jesus, and sometimes we need help just letting go of our baggage and not picking it up again. We're in this together!

About Me

My photo
I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother raising her granddaughter. I am blessed with incredible family and friends. I love working for my church and serving on our Women's Ministry Team. I especially want to reach the women who wear their "Everything's fine" smiles on Sunday, but go home to deal with tough real-life issues throughout the week.
